Faction 9 is a mature video game club and not a video game clan. Many gamers like the fact that we favor the word club and not clan. A club is a group of persons with a common interest and Faction 9 members are interested in video games for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game systems. There is no pressure to compete or be on the winning side, only pressure to have fun.

Faction 9 is focused around mature games. There are a number of gamers that prefer to play with other mature gamers because they just don’t want to deal with the riffraff that comes with online gaming. Members of Faction 9 must be at least 17 years of age.

The reason for the age restriction is due to the mature rating of games in our game roster. Faction 9 respects the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rating system. If you would like to learn more about the ESRB you may visit their website, www.esrb.org.

History

Faction 9 was founded by Brian V on September 9, 2009 (09/09/09).

During its early days, Faction 9 was focused on becoming a very competitive video game club. After many months it was decided not to become involved in competitive gaming. The fun factor became our focus. Faction 9 is now a place for mature gamers to meet up and just have fun.
