Article 1
Club Membership

1.1 As a Mature Video Game Club Member “You” are representing FACTION 9 “Faction 9”. Therefore any misconduct; cheating, illegal conduct and anything your mother/grandmother would find to be wrong my result in your removal and/or being banned from Faction 9 and any privileges that you have will also be removed.

Article 2
Video Game Club

2.1 Faction 9 is a mature multiplatform video game club.

2.2 Age. Members must be 17 years of age or older to join. Faction 9 is a mature based video game club and our game roster is full of Mature rated games. Mature or M rated games are rated for 17+ years of age by the ESRB. Faction 9 respects the ratings put into place by the ESRB.

Article 3
Official Club (Clan) Tags

3.1 Official Faction 9 Club (Clan) Tag. The official Faction 9 club tag is F9. All members are required to use the official club tag.

Article 4
Membership, Fees and Donations

4.1 Membership. We encourage all members to participate in the Faction 9 forums. Members that are inactive for more then 60-days will have their account removed from the system. If your account has been removed do to inactivity, it doesn't mean you have been banned. To many websites allow for abandoned accounts to remain and Faction 9 will not allow it.

4.2 Fees. There are "No Membership Fees".

4.3 Donations. We hope that members donate what they can to help the Faction 9 club continue the addition of new features on faction9.com. Donations may also be used for forum contest prizes, apparel products and anything the club needs.

Article 5
Website and Forum Access

5.1 Website Access. You will be given access to the Faction 9 website and its forum located on Faction9.com.

5.2 Forum Access. The Faction 9 forum is a place for members to discuss video games, non video game related topics and to have fun. Members must respect one another in the forums and follow the forum rules. If a member is found not respect others or following the forum rules they will be removed/banned from the Faction 9 website.

Article 6
Brand and Logo Usage

6.1 Faction 9 and the Faction 9 logo is a trademark of Faction 9 and maybe only used on authorized apparel and club merchandise. The Faction 9 logo may not be modified in anyway as in; color, text or design.

Article 7
Cheating

7.1 Faction 9 will present itself as a positive origination that follows other organization rules. IF YOU ARE FOUND CHEATING, YOU WILL BE REMOVED AND BANNED WITHOUT HESITATION.

Article 8
Communications

8.1 Communication. ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A HEADSET. Headsets are important when we are gaming. If you don’t not have headset you will be required to purchase one. Today you can find inexpensive headsets online and in some retail stores.

8.2 MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ACTIVE IN THE CLUB FORUM. A lot of time has been spent developing the Faction 9 website. It’s important that you use the forum as much as possible. Information located in the forum will help you become a valued member and supply you with needed knowledge.

8.2.1 If you are found not using the Faction 9 website for communication as you should you will be removed from the club. We understand that some may find this rule to be a bit harsh but there have been issues in the past. Example: Sending large number of XBOX LIVE/PSN message to any administrative member regarding club information that was already addressed in the club forum.

Article 9
Club Goals

9.1 Faction 9’s goal is to have fun gaming with other mature gamers. Discussing video games and whatever else members have interest in on the Faction 9 forums.

9.2 Killzone Universe. Faction 9's goal when it comes to Killzone is to be victorious in every battle and never to give up. Failure is not an option when it comes to the Killzone universe.

Article 10
Club Member Conduct

10.1 Members are allowed to give the apposing club/clan/team the business but keep it clean. This means “NO RACIAL SLURS, BELITTLING OR PERSONAL ATTACKS. Members are given three (3) warnings, after your third warning you will be suspended for six (6) months. If after six months you become a repeat offender you will be removed and band from Faction 9.

Article 11
Gaming Club Apparel

11.1 You are more than welcome to purchase club apparel when available from the Faction 9 store. When members are using this apparel you are held to the same misconduct statement in Article 1 of this CODE of Conduct. You are responsible for “YOU” and how you represent Faction 9.

Article 12
CODE of CONDUCT Modification

12.1 Faction 9 reserves the right to modify this CODE of CONDUCT at anytime. It’s the responsibility of all members to keep up to date with this CODE of CONDUCT.
