| PSN to be Fully Restored by May 31 |

The PlayStation Network is still not working despite claims from Sony that the service would be partially operational this past week. Even with those claims the network is still down, and it could be until the end of the month before service is restored. In a phone interview Sony spokesperson, Shigenori Yoshida said, "Sony is uncertain when it can resume services. The company is in the process of adopting an improved security system and its plan to restart the services fully by May 31 is unchanged." Sony shutdown the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services on April 20, 2011 do to a security breach and the possibility of data theft by hackers. Source: Bloomberg |
