Starting this September, Resistance 3 will require an online pass or PSN Pass to access multiplayer. The PSN Pass is included with all new copies of Resistance 3. However, if you prefer to buy the game used you will need to purchase the PSN Pass to access multiplayer.

There are a number of gamers upset by the announcement of a required online pass to gain access to multiplayer. Gamers have been making such comments as to not purchase the game anymore based on this new requirement. Not sure why its an issue as the PSN Pass is included in all new copy's of Resistance 3.

Sony also confirmed that all future exclusive titles would require the use of the PSN pass.
