It’s been nearly 2-years since Ubisoft announced that the highly anticipated Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was going to be delayed. With an original release for fall of 2010 many fans wondered if the game would ever release.

Over a year later it was announced that the games release would be March of 2012. Sadly a March release would not happen as the game was once again pushed back but only by a few months. May 22, 2012 is the current projected release date for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

The question on all Ghost Recon fans minds, including my own, is whether the May release will be the true release date or if the game will once again be delayed. I hope Future Soldier doesn’t turn in to the next Duke Nukem Forever.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been my longest running pre-order. I’ve been waiting since June of 2010, and I still have the original receipt with beta code. I’m sure by now that beta code won’t even work.

Speaking of the beta. It appears that the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta will occur sometime at the end of March beginning or mid April 2012. This information is more rumor then fact.
