You’ve been playing Gears of War 3 Horde mode for hours on end and can’t get enough. Well the team at Epic just released new details about the first DLC for Gears of War 3, and it includes more Horde content.

The Horde Command pack will include three new maps, Blood Drive, Rustlung and Azura, new fortifications and fort upgrades along with new multiplayer characters.

New fortification upgrades:

• Command Center - A brand new type of fortification that allows you to call in fire support from sniper teams, mortar strikes and even multiple Hammers of Dawn.
• Decoy Upgrade - A new fortification level that turns your decoy into an Onyx Guard bot that will fight in your defense.
• Sentry Upgrade - This upgrade adds a fire bolt sentry that deals much more damage and is very effective against Berserkers.
• Silverback Upgrade - This advancement allows you to upgrade your Silverback exo-suit with devastating rockets and extra levels of repair cost reduction.

The new characters are an Onyx Guard (elite COG), Big Rig Dizzy (trucker dude) and Bernie (dreadlocks lady). The pack also contains two weapon skins, Team Plasma and Jungle Camo.

Gears of War 3 Horde Command DLC pack will be available on November 1st for 800 Microsoft Points. Now if you purchased the Gears of War 3 Season Pass then you wont need to worry as this DLC is part of the pass.
